Whipped Tallow Balm with Blue Tansy

This luxurious whipped moisturizer is handcrafted in small batches with a simple blend of tallow, jojoba oil, and blue tansy essential oil to help moisturize your skin with anti-inflammatory and skin healing properties.

Our primary ingredient is organic, grass-fed and grass-finished tallow suet, serving as an all-encompassing skin superfood. The complex fatty acid profile closely mirrors our skin’s natural biology, and is, therefore, highly bioavailable allowing for quick and easy absorption. Additionally, the inclusion of naturally occurring fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K enhances collagen and elastin production, shields against environmental harm, and aids in restoring and preserving balance in the skin.

We incorporate organic, cold-pressed jojoba oil into our blends for its non-comedogenic properties, ensuring it won't block pores. Jojoba oil also naturally contains vitamin E, acting as an antioxidant to combat the oxidative stress resulting from daily exposure to pollutants and toxins.

Organic blue tansy therapeutic grade essential oil is used to reduce inflammation as well as its ability to promote skin-healing. The flower (Tanacetum annuum) has a natural blue hue that is released during the distillation process, yielding an essential oil that is renowned for its ability to alleviate skin conditions marked by redness including blemishes and irritation. Three main components of blue tansy are touted for their effectiveness against skin inflammation, namely Camphor and Sabinene. Chamazulene, the compound responsible for the distinctive blue hue released during distillation, has also been recognized for its anti-inflammatory properties. Heat Exposure

Whipped tallow maintains a naturally airy consistency at room temperature, but may liquefy in temperatures exceeding 84 degrees Fahrenheit (28 degrees Celsius), leading to changes in texture and consistency. Please note that during warmer months, shipping of whipped tallow products may cause flattening and alterations in texture, resulting in thickening. However, due to the inherent stability of tallow, it does not spoil easily and is resistant to oxidation leaving the product still safe and effective to use.
